Sad Day

Dad passed away this morning at the age of 92.

After learning on May 10th that there was no more the doctors could do for Dad, Mom arranged to take him home and on May 22nd she began the noble and courageous task of caring for him during his final weeks. For the next seven weeks she cared for him and we all helped out, taking turns staying at the house so Mom and Dad wouldn't have to face the challenges alone.

The Palliative care people were good. Dad had all the equipment he needed, nurse and doctor visits, and an overnight nurse for the last week or so. All efforts were made to make him as comfortable as possible.

We love you and we will miss you. Rest in Peace Dad.
