Applebee 27 - Custom Trawler
Yesterday was cold and rainy. We added to the gloom by spending the morning doing our tax returns.
However, in those beautiful preceding days. . . .
Boat Work Progressed:
Donna was busy taping and painting walls with Kiwigrip.
The photo below shows the area around the sink cabinet.
This next one shows the corner and the aft wall of the head (which was the rough side of the plywood sheet). Looks great now!
This next one shows the starboard side aft wall (bulkhead) in the pilothouse. Again, this was the 'rough side' of the plywood.
The two adjoining walls in the photo below came out particularly nice. This is a 'central' area and we struggled with the question of how to finish the outside corner, finally deciding to round it off and paint it. We figured that another strip of wood trim there would make the whole area look smaller and 'too busy'.
This next photo again shows the contrast between the finished section of partial bulkhead and the unfinished aft bulkhead behind it. Quite a difference.
Great Work Donna!
