I was out of town for a week and mainly spent my time helping myself to Mom's meals, wine, deserts and snacks. Got to visit with Gerry and Mike too!

I prepped her front steps for a 'redo' by chipping all the loose surface material with a hammer and cleaning it all with a pressure washer. Then Mike and I resurfaced them with 'Top-n-Bond' cement.

Boat Work

Donna spent the week painting. She scrubbied, sanded and put a coat of paint on the chain locker.

Then another coat.

It looks great!

In preparation for the final finish on the walls and bulkheads, she patched a bunch of screw holes.

Donna also worked with a rasp to round off the outside corner where the two walls of the head meet.

She also managed to get three coats of paint on the cabin sole.
