Boat Work:
It was a two-day job. Yesterday we taped our design onto the cabin sole (floor). A fiddly job for sure and hard on the old knees.

This morning, Donna finished up the taping while I sanded between the tape strips with 80-grit paper. I swept up the dust and wiped it all down with a damp cloth, twice.
This afternoon, we got busy rolling on the KiwiGrip non skid. It's called 'grey' but it's pretty pale. Very close to white, if you ask me.

I rolled on the goop, pulling up the tape as I went along. Donna stayed close behind, taking the tape from me and stuffing it into a garbage bag. She also kept the scissors and knife clean and supplied materials and tools as I needed.

Anyhoo, by 3:00PM we were all done. What a team! We finished up in the forepeak and had to exit through the forward hatch.

I think it came out quite nice. It definitely changes the interior aesthetics. It has a somewhat rugged 'nautical' look and the KiwiGrip will guard against slips and falls, especially when it's wet.
