Happy Birthday Brian Applebee!
Donna taking a break after we worked hard to prepare the boat for launch.

Leaving the shelter for the last time.

She's in the water again!

We ran the motor for a bit and checked the multigauge. We tested the VHF radio, the chartplotter, the depth sounder and the bow thruster.

She's ready to go now but we have rented a truck for tomorrow to go and get the cradle, some lumber and plywood, the ladder, the mast, the table saw and a few other things.
If all goes well, we'll be leaving the harbour early Thursday morning for the trip home.
We have mixed feelings about leaving Iroquois. We love that we will soon be in a slip at the yacht club and able to spend more time with friends there but we have felt 'at home' at Iroquois Marine Services ever since we arrived in the autumn of 2018. I suppose that's partly due to the friendly owner and staff and partly because we are amongst like-minded people and their vessels.
Thanks for reading our blog!
