Outboard Trawler Project Finished!!

This is definitely a banner day. Our five-year boat project is all done!

Here's an update on the 'finishing touches'.

Donna made a 'stowable' bug screen for the cabin door.

I installed the utensil tray (with backstop).

Donna made herself a new hat. . . . .

Uh, . . . I mean windlass cover.

Nice eh?

I added a slide bolt for the drawer in the head (it almost came out when we were rolling in the seaway last week).

Donna made a cover for the dash instruments (GPS, back-up camera screen, engine multigauge and thruster control).

I added dome lights in the main cabin, galley . . . . . .

. . . head. . . .

and forward cabin.

Thanks for having followed our progress with these intermittent reports. It was fun. It brought us through the Covid pandemic and then some. It's been a long, long time since I was young and the project was challenging at times. I'm glad this was my last.
